Mitch Lively is pitching really well in AAA-ball for the San Francisco Giants

26-year old righty reliever Mitch Lively is pitching really well in AAA-ball for the Giants so far this year. He has pitched in 22 games (0 starts) in AAA-ball for the Giants so far this year and he is 3-2 with a 1.79 ERA and a 1.04 WHIP. Lively has only given up 31 hits and 11 walks while whiffing 29 batters in his first 40 1/3 innings in the minors so far this year, and those are impressive numbers. Lively has now pitched in 197 games (0 starts) in his first six years in the minors and he is 17-15 with 18 saves, a 2.82 ERA and a 1.24 WHIP. He could get his first shot at the show later this year if he keeps pitching well.
